Do you have one or more successful permission campaigns that you run/have run to generate new subscribers to your email and/or text list?
Yes

Tell us about your Permission strategy and how you deliver it to fans:
My primary permission strategy is my Free+Shipping CD funnel, that I deliver through Facebook and Instagram ads, using a mix of live performance videos and user-generated content montages. However, I have a handful of other permission bribes that are delivered organically - either in concentrated campaigns, or as evergreen offers in my "link in bio" and website homepage:

Merch orders from socials: People who order a "real-time" offer from social media are subscribed.

Ultimate Album Launch: A 5-day virtual cabin experience that brings people behind the scenes of my EP, complete with stories, live studio videos, performance videos, and more.

Request a concert: People can request a concert in their city with an opt in form.

House concert applications: I perform house concert tours, and people can apply to host me on my next tour.

Choose the songs I make next: Fans get access to stream a whole archive of demo recordings and vote for what I make next in a Typeform survey. This not only serves as a permission bribe, but gives me valuable insight into what songs I should focus my production resources on.

Live concert signups: The classic "pass around the clipboard" at a concert. Yes, literally a clipboard. And yes, it works really well!

Describe your growth with your permission list(s) in the last 12 months and your engagement trends:
My Permission phase is mostly from my FSH campaign, which has generated 8,033 new email subscribers in the past year. Overall, my email list has grown from 3,739 to 10,411 in that time period, for a net gain of 6,672 subscribers after subscriptions are accounted for.

My email engagement metrics for this period are:
Open rate: 40%
Click-through rate: 2.3%
Unsubscribe rate: 0.44%

Lastly, please tell us why you think you should be a finalist for the Builder Award:
Well, I built a big ol' mailing list this year. 10k email subscribers was a pretty cool benchmark to hit! In the new year, I'm going to be experimenting with more permission ads to scoop up my warm audience that was generated as a side-effect of my FSH. I've already got plenty of bribes already built to try out, but I want to sculpt each one so that they give some short-term ROI when implemented. Thank you for your consideration!
