Tell us about your most successful top of funnel ads! This could be a Fan Finder, Follower Finder, Instagram to Spotify, etc.--any paid ads you've used to build your following that wasn't a sales campaign:
I have only recently been running an opt in offer with great results. I have tested all my best ads with my Fan finder last year, and then again refined with my FSH campaign, and using the two most successful ads, In only 2 weeks I have accumulated 440 new subscribers with an ad spend of approx $USD274. I am currently spending $US0.42 to gain a subscriber. I reply to all my comments, and have had radio stations reach out to me for interviews, fans offer to try and get me live gigs in their cities, DJ's contact me to do remixes on my songs etc. I can see my FB page growing steadily, with 128 new page followers in the last 28 days, and people are engaging with my content with 2008 reactions to posts and 201 shares of my content. My IG is also growing steadily, and until I began my opt in and FSH, it was very stagnant, and difficult to grow.
I have been running a FSH using the CRM templates, to bring in new fans. I have been running the campaign between June and November, but I've taken a few short breaks. My spend was between US$15-30 per day. My results were as good as $US5.60 per purchase / signup, but over the 6 months, they averaged $US9.25 per purchase / sign up.
The campaign went well, I kept tweaking the add, adding text on screen, changing the headline, testing new primary text / headlines... and found the add that worked the best for my song.
I replied to every comment, and I wrote everyone a hand written note with every CD sent out.
My email list has grown this year from a couple of hundred to 2000, so I would say my strategies to grow my social media and email list are working!
Describe your growth on social media in the last 12 months:
FB has increased by 261% since January
IG has increased by 9.2% in the last 90 days ( I didn't track it before then)
My IG was very stagnant before running these campaigns. It didn't seem to matter how or what I posted, I wasn't getting any traction. Now I feel like I'm gaining new followers every week which is motivating to keep on going!
Lastly, please tell us why you think you should be a finalist for the Foundations Award:
I have had a few sessions with Jesse and implemented everything he has showed me. Using the CRM I've set up a website, created a welcome series to nurture fans, created FSH funnels, created opt in campaign and I work tirelessly on testing ads, and creating new content to test. I love all the Indepro workshops and all the trainings, they are SO WELL explained and laid out... and the support on the FB page is prompt and extremely valuable. I think I should be a finalist because I am a very good Indie protege, doing everything Yoda says (yes that is Jesse), and YES, I am seeing great results.
On a side note, thank you Indepreneur, you guys are all GREAT!
