How often do you release new music?
Multiple times a year

Describe the overall feel of your brand and how you want incoming fans to perceive you and your music:
My music is made for 'the drive home,' offering listeners a sense of relief, escape, and joy. It’s designed to elevate their day, even if it’s just by 2%. I aim to create songs that resonate deeply, connecting with listeners through detailed storytelling and linger long after the music ends. My songs explore themes of love, nostalgia and family, and I strive to build shared connections through music, giving fans a soundtrack to life’s most meaningful moments.

Please briefly describe your organic content strategy and provide links where we can see your top of funnel content:
I primarily focus on performance videos, comedy sketches that feature my music and “man on the street” style content. I am very consistent and post multiple times a week across, facebook, instagram, youtube shorts, tiktok, clapper and have seen growth on all platforms over the past 12 months. I use my organic posts as tests to see what the audience responds to and then use the GLW strategy to boost the top performing posts to nurture my warm audience. I also use my organic posts to inform what content I use in my ads for any type of sales campaign (F+SH, Ticket Sales, etc)

Example #2

Tell us about your most successful top of funnel ads! This could be a Fan Finder, Follower Finder, Instagram to Spotify, etc.--any paid ads you've used to build your following that wasn't a sales campaign:
I have run several fan-finder style videos over the past few years however my most successful video was for my song Pay You Back. We created an stripped down acoustic version of the song then put a drummer, guitar player, bass player and myself into my mom’s minivan and drove around the neighborhood performing the song inside the car.

The video is currently at 1.2 million views, 10,000 reactions and over 3000 shares. While this Fan Finder was launched a couple years ago I still use
this specific video in several ad campaigns and it performs exceptionally well.

Describe your growth on social media in the last 12 months:
I track all the growth of all of my social media accounts every month, here are the stats from Nov. 2023 to Nov. 2024

Tiktok: 900 → 1717
Facebook: 3669 → 4074
Instagram: 6184 →6870
Youtube: 427 subs → 679 subs
Clapper: 1700 → 2700

Lastly, please tell us why you think you should be a finalist for the Foundations Award:
I believe I consistently embody the core principles of Indepreneur, and am continually applying direct-to-consumer marketing strategies to drive my music career forward. As a dedicated student of the Indie Founder program for over a year, I’ve not only completed all the foundational trainings but have actively integrated them into my marketing approach. I think the results of my 1.2 million view Fan Finder video, and my sustained social media growth across all platforms demonstrate that I have been actively using the grass roots digital marketing strategies that Indepreneur teaches for years and believe I would be a great representative of this award.
